Welcome! The Stanford γ-Group comprises three Stanford astrophysics faculty members and their students. Our research covers a wide range of topics in γ-ray astronomy and astrophysics, centering on the locally-grown Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope.

Research Interests

  • Pulsars and pulsar wind nebulae
  • Supernova remnants
  • Blazars and active galactic nuclei
  • Analysis of γ-ray data
  • Multiwavelength studies of γ-ray sources
  • Identification of counterparts of γ-ray sources
  • TeV astronomy
